My Xbox is coming home

Xbox360 logo

Hats off to Microsoft for a quick turn around.  Less than a week ago I shipped my Xbox360 back to them for repair after falling prey to the Red Ring Of Death. I checked on its progress today and it’s on its way home.  It left the factory in Germany yesterday (25 August) and this morning (26 August) is leaving UPS in Belgium.

Microsoft have also kept me up to date via email which is a nice touch.  Customer service like this is hard to find these days.

You’ve got to give Microsoft their due here, with a failure rate of over 50% they up the ante and extend every bodies warranty. Even with that failure rate I’d still be happy to buy another xbox.

I’d buy another Xbox360 for sure, love the console. She lasted nearly 3 years too which isn’t bad. You can have your console back when I get mine returned. Maybe you can join us on Xbox Live again?

Become one with your XBox, love it, enjoy it, treasure it!

I have a new/refurbished xbox360 in my hands. Under a week for a replacement is very good indeed, especially as it went to Germany and back.

I was amazed when mine came back in under a week! Some might argue that they shouldn’t break in the first place ……
